Services:
Initial Documentation Service
Renewal Service: The Certificate of Documentation must be renewed annually and we can arrange for this renewal thus simplifying the process and permitting the owner to attend to other important matters.
Cancellation Service: We arrange for the formal request for removal of a vessel from documentation. This is required in instances where the new or current owner does not wish to document the vessel, the vessel has been destroyed or is incapable of transportation by water, or it no longer meets the requirements for documentation, such as being transferred to a non-citizen owner or being placed under foreign registry.

We prepare all of the necessary instruments to be executed by all parties to the transaction.
All forms, instruments, and affidavits are then filed with the U.S. Coast Guard together with the applicable fees. Note that fees paid to the U.S. Coast Guard are non-refundable.
We obtain the Certificate of Documentation (COD) and, for new vessels, we obtain the award of official number.
We shall deliver the Certificate of Documentation to you as proof of United States Registry.
IMPORTANT: THIS DOCUMENT MUST BE KEPT ON BOARD THE VESSEL AT ALL TIMES WHILE IN OPERATION
Mortgage Services
- Preparation and filing of a first preferred ship's mortgage when a lender is involved.
- Preparation and filing of a satisfaction of mortgage.
- Preparation and filing of a Bill of Sale.
- Arrange to secure and deliver Abstract of Title to interested party.
